Struggle Street

We all have those days when everything seems to be a bit more challenging than usual.

In the morning we spill the coffee, at the office everything goes wrong. It just seems we are against the world…

So we go down to the gym to release stress as we usually do, we rack our bar with the warm-up weight and then. The weight feels 3x as heavy as usual.

This is when we start to be really harsh on ourselves and instead of enjoying the workout and releasing all the stress that it have, we make everything worse….

These times when you get into a negative spiral, you’re just ruining your enjoyment…

It is OK to drop down the weight on exercises.

It is OK to tell your coach that you had a tough day.

It is OK to take it easy.

Just remember, be KIND to yourself, and remember this bad day won’t last forever.
